Many small dogs get euthanized in shelters simply because they are scared and will not approach people, so the shelter gives up on them deeming them "unadoptable". Can you imagine how loud and scary it must be for a small dog in a shelter? There are weird smells, loud noises, and great big humans messing with you all the time! I'm sleeping in a condo with Oso because the little guys (and the big ones!) get scared, and louie's team gives them a chance to trust people again and find pups the loving home they deserve.
