We rescue dogs and cats from the threat of euthanasia in over-crowded shelters, and have found homes for over 17,000 since starting in 2001.

Walking through a shelter and seeing all the animals that need help is tough. There are so many homeless animals that need help, which is why LDCRF focuses on making a lasting impact by partnering with shelters with high euthanasia rates.

We work with these shelters on a routine basis to pull dogs and cats that are scheduled to be killed, and give them a second chance. These animals range from kittens and puppies, pregnant or nursing mothers, to seniors whose owners died, or strays that just want a cosy couch or jogging partner. We take in these animals, and provide them with the veterinary care and TLC that they need in order to go on and find homes.

We strive to make the adoption process an enjoyable experience. With 10 adoption events every weekend, there are more opportunities for our animals to get adopted then ever before!

Since 2001, we've found homes for thousands of animals. Animals like Polly and Molly, who as a bonded pair of seniors, took a while to find themselves a home! But they did, and as you can see from the above photo, they are wonderfully happy in it. Other animals, with medical issues, come to us and need extra vet care, to treat injuries, or heartworm, and thanks to our supporters, we're able to provide them with this.

We hope you'll take a moment to look at the photos and videos, and see the great work that your donation supports.
