John Locke had the island, however it was his intrepidness that anchored his will to get there (and of course a few other worldly coincidences). The protagonists of Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation have an equally strong desire to help those who live with spinal cord injury and paralysis. With aid generously provided by grants and advocacy, the champions of this worthy cause have taken strides in improving the quality of lives world wide by helping to fund innovative research that would make Daniel Faraday proud.
