The Linden Hills tennis courts have deteriorated and must be replaced. We are asking for your support to raise money for the new courts.

The Linden Hills Tennis Courts project is an all-volunteer, grassroots fundraising campaign dedicated to raising funds to replace the tennis courts in Linden Hills park. The tennis courts are utilized by the Southwest High School tennis teams, InnerCity Tennis, SWAC and other park programs, and adults and children throughout the neighborhood.

Tennis courts are a great asset to our neighborhood. By providing public tennis facilities, we provide access to people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to enjoy the game.

Our goal is to complete our fundraising by December, 2011 in order to start building the new courts in the Spring of 2012 with a completion date of Fall 2012

We have raised approximately 40% of our goal.
*Raised over $10,000 in March with neighborhood "Grand Slam" event
*Applied and received $10,000 grant from USTA Adopt a Court
*Raised over $3500 at community garage sale at Linden Hills Festival
*$500 donated by 2nd grade Lake Harriet School at Earth Day Event
*Lake Harriet Masonic Cchurch donated pancake breakfast proceeds
*Over $1,000 raised from Tennis Professional lesson proceeds
*$7550 raised from US Open raffle, tickets donated by USTA
*Received significant donations from incredibly supportive neighborhood and the broader tennis community
