Hi My Name Is Linda Arpino and I have been a registered dietitian my whole life helping people live healthier lives with balanced nutrition. When a collegue, Jill Ratner, MD, pediatrican presented at a ground round meeting last spring about her trip to Haiti and the intense need there was for more assistence to help the most impoverist country on this side of the globe, I knew I must go to help! I wish to make a difference but need your support as little as $10, or more will help cover costs of $2000 by January 18, 2013. While I have contributed financially to helping Haitians for years, going and being part of the team going on March 2-10, 2013 is my commitment but I need your help to support this important effort! My air flight to join the team going must be booked by January 18. So please help me in any way you can by making a donation on this site. Two years ago I in India to help at a Missionary Hospital Pediatric Cancer Center. There I was able to make a difference in changing what was fed to children with struggling with leukemia. The physician I know who works at this hospital isaid the changes are still helping.
