Libya Crisis

Libya. Some of us never go beyond the headlines. We speculate on which side is right, which side is wrong, and how this will affect what I pay for gas. But when you are asked to deliver surgery kits to a hospital that is out of supplies, it puts a very human face on this crisis.

An HISG team just returned from Libya where we delivered antibiotics, surgery kits, and other medical supplies to communities in desperate need. The aid was delivered to the people most affected by the conflict - the civilians who do not know where their next meal or the next round of mortars will come from.
