We are attempting to send a bulldozer, dump truck and trailer to Liberia to build unity among the churches.
In the wake of civil war, in Liberia, more than just the roads were destroyed. The culture, including the churches, gravitated to a survival mindset that is only now beginning to fall away. The goal of The Liberia Project, headed by Anthony Sackor, is to help the Church of Liberia lead the way toward cooperation, sharing and demonstrating the love of Christ.
RMW is partnering with The Liberia Project to send a bulldozer, dump truck and trialer to equip a program that is aimed at uniting the churches through the common goal of restoring one another's roads. Working shoulder to shoulder to make one another stronger will forge lasting relationships, as well as community infrastructure.
The ongoing plans for this equipment include training Liberians in a marketable skill, clearing runways for mission work and helping The Liberia Project be self sustaining.
In the West we take our roads for granted, but they are more than just dirt, gravel or asphalt. They are the connectors of people and the thoroughfares of community that bring us out of isolation. Lets give that gift to the Liberian Church, and build them a road.
