Lexington Youth Summer Theatre is a nonprofit organization that nurtures children’s theatrical talents and fosters the joy of giving back.
Lexington Youth Summer Theatre (LYST) is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a dynamic, fun production of Grease! A time-honored tradition, LYST is a nonprofit family cooperative summer theater program located in Lexington, Massachusetts. Children in grades 4-12 rehearse almost every day for six weeks, as well as host a car wash, bake sale and other activities to raise money for charity; parents of cast members volunteer countless hours to help put on an entertaining show for audiences of all ages. Each year, significant proceeds from our performances and fundraisers go to children’s charities selected by the cast. Charities that have benefited from LYST’s generosity in the past include Make-A-Wish Foundation, Shriners Burn Institute, The Children’s Room, and Heifer International.
For three decades, LYST has provided children, families, and audiences with an enriching musical experience while helping children in need. We nurture our talented young thespians and foster in them the importance of giving back. We need your support to sustain this wonderful organization for another 30 years. Your contribution is tax-deductible and will be acknowledged in the Grease program. Please give generously!
