Lee Carlson Center for Mental Health and Well Being
A verified US-registered nonprofit
Donations enable us to provide free and reduced cost mental health services for children, families and adults in our community.
For 30 years, Lee Carlson Center has been a beacon of hope for people coping with emotional and behavioral problems.
Lee Carlson, a registered nurse and community mental health advocate, founded the center in 1979. Concerned about a lack of services, she focused on helping at-risk kids by offering several free support groups in area schools.
Today, the school based peer support program has expanded to over 20 schools, reaching over 1200 youth K-12. Without this program at their school, most of these young people would not receive the mental health help they so desparately need to help them graduate and go on to lead a successful life.
In addition to school-based programs, Lee Carlson Center sees more than 3,500 individuals and famlies at our main clinic and in our two satellite locations.
In addition to indivdual and group counseling, services also include:
As a non-profit agency, we rely heavily on individual & business donations to help fund our programs and services.
Your donation is greatly appreciated and is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
