LA1 - Chinese Program

Bell School students have the opportunity to study Mandarin Chinese with two native speakers, Mr. Qiao and Ms. Li. Donations to this wish allow our Chinese teachers to buy academic materials and supplies for ongoing Chinese instruction and to learn Chinese culture by inviting Chinese folk dance groups, acrobatics, paper cutting artists and kite artists, etc. to the school.

Celebrating the Chinese New Year is another part of the Chinese program. This year's festivities include a dance performance by eight Bell 2nd grade students, a Tai Chi martial arts performance by five Bell 7th grade students, and a performance by a group of dancers from Chinatown during a school-wide assembly (which was on January 26).
