    Student Voices:

“I like to dance because it gives me a different aspect in a culture and it also gives me a way to express myself besides writing and speaking. Dance also gives me the chance to teach others about the Indian culture.” ~ Ashani Jayasekera, 5th grade

"I really like to dance for a few reasons. It gives me exercise that really makes my whole body feel good afterwards. I also do dance because it allows me to take my mind away from anything that's gone on at school or during the week. And I just love doing it.” ~ Ananya Kapur, 3rd grade

"Although I'm graduating high school next year, my major goal is to be consistent with dance, no matter how busy I may be. Since dance is one of my passions, I would hate to give it up because of my schedule.” ~Taruna Purihella, 11th grade
