On April 15, 2013, I will be running the Boston Marathon. I am thrilled to be running this prestigious race as my third marathon, but even more excited that in doing so, I will be raising money for an amazing cause!

The Michael Lisnow Respite Center provides support and relief to disabled individuals and their families. Through personal experiences and encounters, I have learned that while mentally and physically disabled individuals face more challenges in a single day that many of us will face in our lifetimes, they are some of the most enthusiatic, happy, and loving people. I am truly inspired by these individuals and am motivated to raise money for their cause!

Through my work in healthcare, I have learned how few resources are available for disabled and their families. A majority of the respite center's funding comes from the money raised by marathon runners! I am honored to be running with the 2013 Michael's Miracle Marathon Team and truly appreciate your support! :-)
