Korean Quarterly needs your help raising funds for its 2013 printing budget.

Now is the time to make an extra annual gift to help our all-volunteer newsgathering and publishing efforts.

In 2012, KQ celebrated its 15th anniversary as the newspaper of the Korean American community. This community consists of adopted Koreans and their families, first and second generation Korean Americans and their families, and non-Koreans with an interest in news of Korean Americans locally and globally. We cover news of Korean Americans, analysis of U.S.-Korea relations, and feature stories on the arts and popular culture.

Unlike most of the “recycled” popular media we consume every day, nearly all of KQ’s writing is original, created specifically for KQ. Our news is local to the Twin Cities, where KQ was founded. It also reaches out to the global Korean community

Our newspaper has received more than 25 awards, both local and national, for journalistic excellence, and numerous awards for its community service.

You can make a difference in the future of this independent news source for Korean Americans

Please consider an extra gift to our non-profit 501 (c) 3. Newsgathering and publishing is expensive, and now is a great time for an end-of-year tax-deductible donation.

KQ is unique in the nation – still the only newspaper by and about the Korean American and adopted Korean community. We can do it because of supporters like you – Thank you!
