The short story: In 2002, I was diganosed with a malignant brain tumor (oligodendraglioma) and given 3-5 years to live. In 2004, it came back and I went through aggressive chemotherapy and radiation for the better part of a year. Now, it's 2012 and I'm looking at living to 40. How lucky am I?
