KIDS HELPING KIDS INC

Kids Helping Kids is a group of about two dozen teens, who are committed to helping at risk youth in Alexandria by raising money and awareness for children's charities. This year, the proceeds from Lemonaide Day on Saturday, May 5, 2012 will be donated to the The Fund for Alexandria's Child (FFAC) and Healthy Families Alexandria (HFA).

Founded in 2002, Kids Helping Kids has raised over $94,000 for various children's charities in Alexandria, including Alexandria Tutoring Consortium, Coats for Kids, ALIVE! Child Development Center, Child & Family Network Centers, Center for Alexandria's Children, Camp Grimm - the Alexandria Police Youth Camp, and Grandma Rita's Children. Lemonaide Day is a teen driven operation consisting of selling lemonade throughout Alexandria's neighborhoods by children of all ages.
