MISSION- KERUV (To Bring Closer): To make every family, in-married and inter-married alike, feel as if they belong in a conservative synagogue with no pressure to convert, change or do anything different in their lives except to raise their children in a Jewish household and to observe Jewish ritual as best they are able.
GOAL 1- TO REACH OUT: To learn who within our congregation and community are interfaith families and familiarize them with our programming and the opportunities at Beth Torah.
GOAL 2- TO WELCOME AND INTEGRATE: To bring the interfaith families within our congregation and community to Beth Torah to meet one another, our congregation, our Rabbi and our educators so that they can determine how they would like to be involved. Once decided, to work at every opportunity to provide these families what they need in order to feel comfortable at and a part of Beth Torah.
GOAL 3- TO STRENGTHEN: To make the world a better place, starting with strengthening our interfaith families by developing and deploying a spectrum of programs to engage ALL of our members, including educational, social, ritual, life cycle, social action, Israel awareness and community building.
