I am currently an intern at the Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation (CAASE) and am very passionate about the cause to address the demand for sexually exploited people in our society. Some people are often surprised that sexual exploitation is an issue in the U.S., but on any given day in Chicagoland there are as many as 24,000 women and girls in the sex trade. Many young girls enter into the sex trade as minors and are often escaping homelessness and abuse. This is a very prevalent issue that must be addressed to end future violence against women and children.

I am also passionate about running and believe it is the best self-care activity and stress relief.
