4Donors
Ken's family requests that, instead of flowers or similar gestures, you would honor Ken's memory with a donation to Little Kids Rock.
Ken's life was filled with music. He was happiest with a guitar in his hands and his family around him. Having passed along his love for music to his grandson, Trey, Ken's beautiful music will live on.
In the spirit of passing music on to future generations, Ken's family requests that, in lieu of gifts, people honor Ken's memory by making a donation to Little Kids Rock to help restore and revitalize music education in our nation's schools. This way, Ken's life will be honored and remembered every time a child strums those six strings.
Kenneth Francis Begasse Sr., born on April 14, 1950 in the Bronx, N.Y., lost his battle with lung cancer at 12:48 a.m., December 9th, 2010 at Greenwich Hospital, Greenwich. Ken called Danbury home for many years. Many loving family and friends, all of who enriched his life and gained so much in return, survives him.
Ken's proudest accomplishment was his family, his loving and devoted wife of 37 years, Mary Lynn Begasse; his beautiful children, Kerri Lynn Begasse and Kenneth F Begasse Jr. and his wife, Christine Begasse and their son, Kenneth F Begasse III (Trey). Ken Sr. was the epicenter of his family, as well as the heart and soul of a much larger collection of people, the loving families of his brother, Thomas Begasse, father and mother, Vincent and Angela Repaci Sr. and in-laws, Vincent and Joanna Repaci Jr. and Kari and Donna Rajaniemi.
Ken's life was filled with music. He was an accomplished guitarist and enjoyed filling everyone's lives with the rhythmic beat of his fingers on the strings. He was happiest with a guitar in his hands and his family around him. Having passed along his love for music to his grandson, Trey, Ken's beautiful music will live on.
Kenneth Francis Begasse Sr., held many executive positions as an accomplished advertising guru, but he fulfilled his life-long dream when he helped build Concentric Pharma Advertising with his partners, son Ken Begasse Jr. and their beloved friend, Michael Sanzen.
As a teacher and mentor, his legacy will continue to live on with each individual he has helped. Ken lived everyday, thankful. He never wanted for more than what he was blessed to have. He was a dreamer and an eternal optimist. The two biggest gifts he ever betrothed upon his family and friends. His life and memory will be honored everyday in those he loved so dearly.
