Kelly for the No-Kill Walk for the Animals
Kelly McDuff fundraising for MIDWEST ANIMAL RESCUE & SERVICES -PUPPY RESCUE OF MINNESOTA
On May 5, 2012, I will be walking in the 2nd annual No-Kill Walk for the Animals at Spooner Park in Little Canada.
I rescued my dog Orion from Midwest Animal Rescue (MARS) in July of 2011. He came from Missouri and was found in an abandoned house with nothing except his siblings. MARS took him and his siblings into rescue. I initially was fostering Orion, but after just 5 days I couldn't bear to give him up. When I first got him he had demodex mange, hookworms, and was terrified of almost everything. Almost a year later he has completely transformed into a handsome, well-mannered, friendly dog. If it wasn't for all that MARS does, he would not be in my life today. Now is the chance to give back to MARS, and help them create more success stories like Orion's.
Orion, my dachshund Titan, and I will be walking this year to support MARS and all the other no-kill rescues out there, for all the great things they do.
