KEEN Greater DC (Kids Enjoy Exercise Now) is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization that provides free of charge sports and recreation programs to children and young adults with disabilities in the greater DC area. KEEN currently serves over 300 young people with disabilities such as autism, Down syndrome and cerebral palsy. KEEN Greater DC offers 23 programs in Montgomery County, MD, Washington, DC and Fairfax County, VA. KEEN athletes enjoy swimming, soccer, tennis, music, tae kwon do and gym-based sports programs. At all program sessions athletes are paired one-to-one with a volunteer coach, ensuring that every child receives individualized attention and can participate at their level of ability.
