On Monday, April 18th, 2011, I will be running the Boston Marathon on behalf of Summer Search. 100% of Summer Search students graduate from high school and 89% graduate from college. This college graduation rate compares to only 14% for students in Boston Public High Schools.

Many of you know I have fallen in love with the great city of Boston. In doing so, I have also been looking for opportunities to give back to my community. Summer Search's mission resonates with me because I was fortunate enough to have the influence of great teachers, mentors and strong leaders in my life and I would like to provide the same opportunity for Boston high school students.

As I embark on this challenge, I have pledged to raise $5000.00 for Summer Search Boston, and I ask for your help in reaching that goal and opening doors for low-income students in Boston.
