Hi all! So the past few months have been a whirlwind of change for me. After a very rough beginning of the year, I moved out west to begin a new life for myself. Part of this involved allowing God back into my life and I have been blessed with a beautiful place to live, incredible new friends, and emotional healing ever since. I found a new church called Flatirons that is unlike any I have ever attended before and joined Merge, their college-age community group.

As part of Merge, our group is making a trip to Passion 2013, a conference held in Atlanta, GA attended by over 50,000 students. It is a four-day event of fellowship, worship, and teaching that others have described as "life-changing," "epic," and even "indescribable." I have felt a strong calling to attend with a few other close friends and it is my hope to make this trip possible. This is where I can use your help!

While costs have already been significantly defrayed by Flatirons, there is still over $500 needed to cover transportation, registration, lodging, and food. I cannot afford this cost alone so I applied for a scholarship to cover half the cost; with any luck, a few very generous donations will make this trip a reality for me.

What do I hope to gain from Passion? To build relationships with other young adults immersed in the faith and for God to speak to my heart to help me find my true purpose in life. However, I will keep my heart open to any and all gains from this experience :) Any donation (no matter how small) will be greatly appreciated, but prayers are also welcomed.
