I'm traveling to Nicaragua in January to work alongisde the volunteers at Empowerment International as they help local children. EI gives these children the chance to learn and grow by staying in school. EI offers a photography program to these children that helps the kids gain confidence and a sense of pride at creating art and expressing themselves in ways they've never been able to before. I'll be traveling to Nicaragua to help teach these children photography as well as documenting the lives of the families involved in the program.
