Starting just this past year and a half my view of Christ has changed from one where I knew He existed and loved me to truly understanding what it meant to be loved by my Saviour and have a relationship with Him. I have discovered so much about His character through reading the bible and was excited to feel the Lord leading me abroad to share His love with others.

The opportunity to serve as an intern with Bright Hope, a Christian non-profit organization working to bring hope to those living on less than $1 a day, presented itself through my uncle, Mark Lennox who is the director of the organization in South America. I applied and was accepted, dedicating the next seven months to serve in Santiago, Chile. (Please check out www.brighthope.org to learn more about Bright Hope!)

During my time in South America I will be working alongside my uncle and his team, assisting in the current community development projects in Chile as well as Bolivia and Peru. As an intern, I need to raise support for my trip and the various projects I will be participating in. That is where you come in!
