I am running the Princess half marathon to help raise funds for Girl Power 2 Cure. They are helping to reach the cure for girls with Rett Syndrome. These girls are trapped in a body that is falling apart around them. Unable to speak or move they can see and understand what is around them. My grandfather had ALS, a similar neurologic disease. I was a child but I still remember the sad progression of his disease. I can't imagine being trapped in my body like that. The cure for Rett's is within reach. The finish line is in sight. Please help me set a Princess free from the Rett Syndrome prison tower. Thanks, Karen
