Kappa Sigma Alpha-Eta's Shave Away Cancer!
Kappa Sigma Alpha-Eta fundraising for American Cancer Society
October 5th, 2012 marks the ten year anniversary of the passing of Kappa Sigma Brother Justin Hyde's mother after a long and grueling battle with nasal nasopharyngeal carcinoma, a rare and especially deadly form of nasal cancer. After her passing, Justin and his father established a foundation in her honor named The Aida Hyde Foundation with goal of raising money for The American Cancer Society and hospice centers.
The brothers of Allpha-Eta, in conjunction with The Aida Hyde Foundation, have pledged to shave their heads in solidarity with those who typically lose their hair as a result of radiation therapy when battling their cancer, but they need your support!
Goal: $10,000
When: October 5, 2012
Where: University Yard, The George Washington University
