Hi. My name is Jonathan and Kaposia has helped me find not one, but two jobs!

My favorite job is working for the Minnesota Twins in Guest Services-Promotions. Cindi, one of Kaposia’s Sales Executives, helped me get this job through people she knows at Minnesota News Network Radio Station. I had two interviews before getting the job. The first interview was on my own with the Director of Guest Services. The second one was with the Manager of Guest Services, and Cindi and Chris from Kaposia came with me to that one and it was way more fun. When I found out I got the job, I was really happy. My first day on the job was for the home opener. One of the fun things I get to do is to supervise the running of the bases. This is when the kids get out on the field after the game. I have to make sure they don’t run on the grass.

The week before getting my job with the Twins, I was offered a job at Willow Creek Theater. While it wasn’t my dream job, I was happy to have a job offered to me. Ariel, a Kaposia Employment Specialist, and Erica, a Kaposia Sales Executive, helped me get this job. I take tickets before the movie and make sure customers know which theater they are going to. I like working with people, so it is fun for me to be able to help people find their movie.

I’m proud of my work, happy I’m doing a great job, and I’m also having fun!

Kaposia helps people with disabilities like Jonathan find meaningful employment at competative wages. We also help people who are disabled and want to retire stay connected to the community through volunteer activities and other community connections.
