I would be very grateful if you would consider making a donation to PeacePlayers International.
Peace Players works in Israel/Palestine, Northern Ireland, Cyprus, and South Africa, providing after-school basketball programs that teach life skills and bridge divides between young people that live in communities in conflict. In Durban, PPI also focuses on helping young people to face the terrible challenges of the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
When I visited the program in Durban with my family in August I was amazed by the joy, determination, and skills of the kids who were playing, barefoot and in ragged clothing, on a cold and rainy winter’s day in the beautiful Valley of a Thousand Hills in Molweni. When I am older, I hope to be able to go to Durban and help with the program.
