My name is Jonathan Silvers. I am a 7th grader at Solomon Schechter Day School in Northbrook, Illinois.

In honor of my upcoming Bar Mitzvah in April, I am raising funds for PeacePlayers International. In lieu of a gift, I would be honored if you would consider making a donation to this amazing organization.

PPI uses basketball to bridge divides, change perceptions and develop leaders in conflict communities around the world. PeacePlayers uses the power of sports to improve the future of thousand of children worldwide.

Children who play together learn to live together

The money I raise will go to the Israeli, Arab Israeli and Palestinian childrens basketball program in the MIddle East

I love all sports and when I heard about this program I knew this was something that could really make a difference!

So attention all moms, dads and kids! You are all invited to participate in a 3 on 3 basketball tournament on Saturday night February 25, 2012 @ 7:30 P.M. JOY OF THE GAME, DEERFIELD
