General Mills and Merck generously support this initiative by donating funds to CARE. Throughout November, General Mills and Merck will TRIPLE your donations with a double-match, up to $900,000 by December 31, 2011. Your donation of $10 would become $30, $25 would become $75.
Why Girls?
In many place, girls aren’t allowed to participate in their future. Denied education and access to resources, they are trapped in a cycle of poverty. Yet given the chance to learn and create their own way, successful women and girls uplift their families and communities in a direct and lasting way. By putting girls first, Join My Village is working to eliminate poverty at its roots, for the benefit of all.
