I spend my Saturday mornings attempting to rescue children and their parents from the horror of abortion. The Lifeline I offer them is first and foremost the resources of Thrive which is a long two blocks from the mill. But we know that when Thrive's mobile van is across the street, where parents and grandparents can SEE it, our success rate skyrockets (more lives are saved). I run to make sure that van can be there.

Abortionisis openly admit they kill Black children at FIVE TIMES the rate of White children (http://www.guttmacher.org/pubs/gpr/11/3/gpr110302.html). Thrive challenges that genocide by bringing its mobile unit into inner city neighborhoods. My immediate goal is to survive my training. The jury's still out on that one. In the meantime I am once again eating humble pie. Let's see...who was it who said "Half marathon? What's that? Whoever heard of doing a half of something? 30 minutes of football? A period and a half of hockey? How about 4 1/2 innings of baseball?" But when I found out that to run a full marathon you literally have to eat a meal on the run. That can't be healthy, I decided I'd do the half and have a sit down dinner afterwards (I'll start with an appetizer of eating my own words). Besides there's that whole thing about what happened to the first guy who ran the Marathon.... At any rate a half it is.

As to what to give. Most important is to give your time. To be present at the abortion mill to bring Hope to that terrible place. That would be priceless. Please know that any money you donate will be in the hands of good Stewards and will ensure the lifesaving work of Thrive continues.
