Jilly's running the Boston Marathon!!

I've always promised myself that I'll run a marathon before high school graduation. Most of you know that I tend to leave things to the last minute, so on April 16th, just one month and 22 days before I graduate, that's what I'll be doing. Yes, I know the training won't be easy. Yes, I understand I'll be running in the cold, the rain, and the snow. And trust me, I know I'll be a baby about how tired I am and about how much my knees hurt. But all aches and bad weather aside, I really want to do this.

My biggest motivation is knowing that my fundraising efforts will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Newton. The John M. Barry Boys & Girls Club of Newton, a local non-profit organization, is the Premier Youth Serving Agency in the City of Newton and has served its youth for more than 50 years. This is an amazing organization and I'm so excited to support them because, while I want to achieve this for myself, I also want to make a difference.

I really hope you'll consider making a donation. No amount is too small. And, no amount is too big!

Please help me make a difference for boys and girls in our community.
