Most of you already know how much GlobeMed means to me by the sheer amount of time I spend talking to you or posting on Facebook about it... but here goes:

As I turn 21 on January 17, 2012, I'm reflecting on the incredible experience of joining the GlobeMed family in the fall of 2009 and never looking back. GlobeMed has given me the opportunity to realize my passion for health & human rights and a tangible way in which to create an impact in the world. Most importantly, it has given me a community of friends, mentors, and colleagues that have supported and inspired me more than I could've ever imagined in the past 3 years. GlobeMed has been a transformative aspect of my college experience, and I can't imagine my life without it!

So, friends & family, I would be honored if you would consider celebrating my birthday by supporting a cause that has sustained me for the past three years. In lieu of gifts, I'm asking for $21 (or whatever you can afford) towards GlobeMed for my 21st birthday!
