As a Jewish student in America, I appreciate that I have the freedom to study and practice my religion. However, not all Jews are as fortunate. My own family emigrated from Russia to the U.S. because of religious persecution. Because my family received so much support from the Jewish community in Baltimore, it is now my dream to help other Jews in need.
