After working with the Ohio Campus Compact program for the past year, I can tell you I have never been so inspired by what our VISTAs do on a daily basis. Through their hardwork and dedication to community programs they have truly changed the world.

In my experience with our Summer Associates Program this past year. We were able to expand summer feeding programs and incorporate childhood activities to help the low-income youth of Ohio. We were also able to create community gardens and farmers markets to better serve our communities offering a variety of fresh produce that not many people have access to. The most touching experience was setting foot in a classroom in Marietta, Ohio where one of our VISTAs was teaching children how to create a healthy snack. The smiles around the room were endless, especially the one on a young disabled boy’s face. Step by step we are alleviating poverty and helping our children move towards a better future. Our VISTAs are the people out their making a difference in the lives of other. Please take the time to support, even donate if you can.
