Donate money to the North Carolina Children's Hospital through the Krispy Kreme Challenge, and I promise, I'll eat all 12 donuts (run too)!!
Thanks for checking out my donation page. I'm raising money for the North Carolina Children's Hospital through the Krispy Kreme Challenge. If you haven't heard of the Krispy Kreme Challenge, it is a run from the NC State Belltower, to the Krispy Kreme, where participants are encouraged to eat 12 donuts, and then a return run. In order to complete the Challenge, all 12 donuts must be eaten AND you've got to make it back in under an hour.
Here's the deal: The organizers of the Krispy Kreme Challenge are encouraging participants to raise money in lieu of paying a registration fee. If I can raise 500 in one month, I'm in! I'll run no matter what, but I figured the Children's Hospital is such a good cause, why not fundraise =)
This will be my third attempt at finishing. In year one, I ate six donuts and came in just over an hour. In year two, I ate nine, and had five minutes to spare on the clock. I think I can do it this year. I'm committed to do it! btw.. did I mention the race is in February? The first year, it was rainy and cold!!
This is the 9th Annual running of the Krispy Kreme Challenge. It started as a bet between some NC State grads and has evolved into a charity event where all proceeds are donated to the North Carolina Children's Hospital.
