The Polar Plunge is an annual event in which teams of plungers gather pledges and brave the icy waters of Nahant Beach for Haiti.
The Vikings team is a ragtag group of staff from the Landmark School who feel it necessary to do crazy things for good causes even if it means diving into thirty degree seawater to feed orphans, educate children, and create jobs in Haiti. We are not sure how the two are related, but apparently people give more money when they see you are so dedicated to a cause that you aren't afraid to throw a little crazy at them.
