In 2008 I took Will (my "biking god-son") on his first bike tour, camping and riding in Downeast Maine - It was a blast!

Way back in 2004, I headed out from Missoula to Victoria BC on an epic 1,000 mile ride with 10 days between meetings.

Let's support the U.S. Bicycle Route System!

Since I did my cross-country ride in 1990 I've been a huge fan of the Adventure Cycling Association. Nine years ago I was elected to the board and have been working with them on many great projects since. But nothing has been quite as exciting as the development of the U.S. Bike Route System.

The project has the Association, working with state agencies across the US to help designate bike routes and effectively institutionalize sea to sea, city to city, state to state bike touring and routes. We now have over 30 states signed on.

I'm invite you to join me in making a donation (even $10 helps) to Adventure Cycling Association to help them continue to lead and administer this exciting project.

Thanks!
