The Jefferson Choir Booster Club provides financial support to the Jefferson High School Choir Program to help keep it viable and active.
The Booster Club was organized in 1988 to provide financial support to the Choir Program at Thomas Jefferson Senior High School and other related activities. The Bloomington School District's choir budget doesn't cover all of the expenses of the Choir Program, and the Booster Club helps keep the program viable and running.
The Choir Program provides music education to its students and allows the opportunity for students to perform both at a local and national level. The study of music contributes to student achievement in four important categories: success in society, success in school and learning, success in developing intelligence and success in Life. "Every student in the nation should have an education in the arts” is a statement made by American Association of School Administrators and the National Education Association among others.
In order for the Choir Program to continue to thrive, the Booster Club provides support for a portion of its many costs, from new equipment, music, and props, to choreographers, accompaniment, etc.
Please consider supporting the Jefferson Choir Program by giving a donation to the Jefferson Choir Booster Club.
