Last September, I had the opportunity to visit Hope for Guatemala and Zone 18. Amidst the gangs, druglords and extreme poverty, I walked away forever changed by the incredible light in the community that is Hope for Guatemala.

So this year I am heading back with a new team of adults to extend the life and hope of Jesus Christ to the children and families who depend on Hope for the very basic of necessities.

About Hope For Guatemala
By supporting our team, you are making it possible for Hope for Guatemala to bring hope to one of the world's darkest places. Hope provides meals, education assistance, and skills training under the banner of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the poorest of the poor in Zone 18 of Guatemala City, Guatemala. Children who ordinarily have not had much of an opportunity to succeed, or who typically find a "way out" through gangs and drug trafficking, are being shown that there is a better way, living the gospel of Jesus Christ, displayed through Hope for Guatemala.

About Our Mission Team
Stonecreek's team of volunteers will spend a week cooking meals, performing much needed maintenance projects, assisting with food distribution to families and showing the children and families the love and kindness of Christ. We have an opportunity to bring God's kingdom to restore what has been broken, to bring hope to the hopeless and life among the devastation.

Your gifts have a part in expanding God's kingdom in Zone 18, and displaying that there is a better way. Instead of gang activity, drug trafficking, and prostitution, there is a way that leads to life, and life giving activity.
