Oyster Roast, 1/22/11, from 6:30 to 10 pm, oysters, chili (Iacafonos), beer, wine, and soda included - it is "For the Kids"

- at Goldbug Island just before the Ben Sawyer bridge on (Ben Sawyer Blvd.) Hwy 703 on the way to Sullivan's Island

The endowment adds teachers to the school to improve the education. We provided funding for the technology teacher for the last two years. We would like to add another teacher for 2011-2012 such as a foreign language teacher.

At the end of the day, this is a fundraiser for the James B. Edwards Elementary School. Our goal for 2010-2011 is $50,000.
