ISANTI COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY
A US registered nonprofit
Who is currently preserving the history of Isanti County residents? We are. A few months ago, we received 20+ years worth of old newspaper photos. Our volunteer staff is spending one day a week cataloging these photos, trying to identify the people in them. Another volunteer is putting together a potato picker that his father fashioned. This innovative design shaved hours off the time local residents spent working in the fields. Other volunteers and staff members are planning the annual Epiphany Day Service at St. John's Church of Bradford to enable a new generation to see how their German grandparents celebrated Epiphany Day. We do these things and more to bring history to life.

ICHS is the kind of place that is working behind-the-scenes to make sure our history is preserved.

This is a great, well run organization doing fabulous things in the community. It has trouble fundraising because many people ignore the value history plays in their lives. I'm grateful we have a local organization preserving our local history!
