Expand the Atlas Corps model and help us engage 50 Fellows in 2011.

On November 17, 2010, Scott Beale, founder and CEO of Atlas Corps will receive the 2010 National Award for Citizen Diplomacy and Atlas Corps receives recognition as a Top 10 Voluntary Service Organization.

These awards acknowledge our commitment to multilateral service that came to fruition in 2006 with the creation of Atlas Corps. In four years, Atlas Corps has engaged 53 international leaders from 18 different.

Now, in 2011, our goal is to engage 50 leaders from 25 countries in 100,000 hours of service - 50 in the 50th!

Why 50 in the 50th? It is the 5th year of Atlas Corps and the 50th anniversary of the Peace Corps - the entity that inspired the concept of international service. It is time to engage more leaders in our multilateral service opportunity.

How does your contribution support citizen diplomacy? It costs about $40,000 to support an Atlas Corps Fellow for 12 months. Our Host Organizations cover approximately 60% of that cost. We need to raise the additional 40% - and you can help us achieve our goal!
