The Holiday 10

Too many youth and young adults on the higher end of the autistic spectrum seem to end up living with their parents or a family member if the parents are not around. Our goal is to develop opportunities to assist them in living independently, becoming successful adults and contributing members of their communities.

Much research and resources are targeted to the under age 18 population and those who qualify under DD services. Not all fall into those guidelines and services and resources for those who don't are very limited and parents or family bear the burden of this for the lifetime.

We hope, through our programs and resources to alliviate that burden (which is generally a burden of love), but it's not helping them become all they can be in their lifetime.
