Our mission is to make information and communication technology accessible to under-served communities around the world.
Together, we can bridge the digital divide
In the U.S., 25% of all households do not have access to a computer in their home. That is more than 55 million Americans without access to the most common an important tool of our times: computers. Think about how often you use a computer and how important it is for you in your job, your studies, your personal life and your kids' academic development. Together, we can not only curb this development, we can bridge the digital divide in the U.S.
Turning e-waste into a solution
Every year 40-50 million computers are discarded. At InterConnection's certified facility, we are able to reuse 50% of the computers we get in through donations. In fact, if all computers that are discarded in the U.S. are sent to a reuse facility as efficient as InterConnection, all Americans could have access to a computer in their home in less than 5 years.
How you can help
We work with 400+ big and small companies, have 6 drop off locations for individuals to drop off computers and you can mail in your old laptop for free. But you can also help by donating money to our programs.
Be a part of the solution.
