In Honor Of

Save the Animals Foundation's Recognition Board provides a simple and appropriate way to honor a beloved friend, relative or pet with a donation in their name.

(See the bottom of this section for instructions.)

Although, all donations will be acknowledged with a card and will be greatly appreciated, for a donation of $50.00 or more, we will place a brass plaque, engraved with the name of the honored person or animal and that of the donor, onto the handsome wooden board that is on permanent display in our shelter.

At the same time, the dollars you contribute will be used to purchase food, medicine and other urgent needs for the animals housed at the shelter. (Plaques and labor are donated by one of our volunteers, Sharon Floyd of C & S Engraving, so none of your money is used to create the plaque.)

Because our shelter is staffed entirely by volunteers, with no paid employees, you can be assured that your dollars go directly to the care of the animals. STAF is a non-profit organization, so your contribution is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

If you love animals, or want to honor someone who does, STAF's Recognition Board is the perfect tribute.

After you process your donation, please send an email to sue@staf.org with the following information:

1. the name of the person or pet to be honored, and an indication if the name is that of a person or pet (examples, "Scuffy" Floyd, dog, OR Ann Smith, person),
2. and if you would like an honorary card to be sent to someone, please provide their full name and full address.
3. if the donation is in honor of an event, such as a wedding, graduation, anniversary, etc, please let us know.
