Children all over the world are in crisis, and the potential to break the cycle of hurt and despair is not just a nice thought…we know it to be real! Camp Sonshine International has been working to help children around the world since 1981.

We partner with churches and ministries around the globe to conduct fun-filled camp experiences where children experience God’s love and find His purpose for their lives. Our focus is on equipping the citizens of each country to be empowered and have the tools to run life-changing camps, effectively counsel children in crisis, and do practical children’s ministry year round.

Our story is best told in the words of our children that come to our camp:

“When I see Camp Sonshine counselors, I see love and joy in their eyes.” – a camper in Guatemala

The camper looked up at me and said, “Did you know my mother is dead?” She shared with me how she always felt alone, but that first day of camp’s Bible Discovery Time helped her remember to pray and that Jesus would help her and change her heart.

When I told the children that Camp Sonshine is coming back this year, they all screamed and were overwhelmed with joy.
