As many of you know, I work for an amazing organization called iMentor. I am sure most of you have had someone in your life you consider a role model, a mentor, or simply someone you can go to for advice and guidance. Don’t you think today’s youth deserve the same?

iMentor connects New York City professionals with high school students from low-income communities, creating the foundation and support for high-impact mentoring relationships. The success of iMentor is demonstrated by the fact that 92% of eligible mentees graduated from high school after the 2009 program year (compared to New York City’s average graduation rate of 60.7%), and 82% enrolled in college.

This year alone, iMentor matched 1,200 young people with 1,200 mentors in New York City; isn't that great?? Now don't you want to help something that great???
