Donations help in finding treatments for a better life for patients with Fanconi Anemia(FA), Camp Sunshine Trips, and hopefully for a cure!

My son, Nicholas has Fanconi Anemia. He has a brother named Spencer who is helping with this fundraiser! Nicholas was born in 1998 and has struggled to live since birth! He has many birth anomalies and is on a feeding pump most of the time. He has had numerous surgeries including a trach, a g-j tube, v-p shunt for hydrocephalus, numerous hand surgeries, several bone marrow aspirates, a couple for GERD(reflux disease), and several for PICC/Central Line/Port inserts. He cannot have a bone marrow transplant due to infections and other health issues. He has been in bone marrow failure since 2005 and had to have several blood and platelet tranfusions. He loves LIFE and squeezes every second out of life that he can! He is a very sweet and precious child that is a true gift from God. He blesses our home beyond measure. He loves Camp Sunshine and looks forward to it every year. Your donations help send us to Camp Sunshine and also for researching this horrible life threatening disease. We need a miracle for Nicholas. Join Team Nicholas and help find a cure today! Do you want to have a hand in helping FA?

Spencer, everyone can want to do something. It takes a real hero to step up and DO IT. Good luck with your fundraiser. The hands were a great idea. Lisa
