The Humane Society Fargo-Moorhead is a privately funded, non-profit limited access shelter. We were founded in April of 1966 and over the years have placed over 20,000 animals in permanent, loving homes.

Our mission is to care for, protect and place animals for adoption in lifelong homes and to prevent cruelty to animals by educating our community in the proper and humane care of all animals.
